Craig Wallace

Craig Wallace joined the company in 1994 with the specific assignment to form a Service Division for Cranel. As Vice President of Service, he established and built Versitec into the industry leader for IT Maintenance in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Market.

Prior to coming to Cranel, Craig held positions in sales and marketing in the Network Service Divisions of CompuServe. Today, Craig focuses on business growth and is responsible for all operational aspects of the company. Craig holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from The Ohio State University.


Jim Wallace

Executive Chairman
James Wallace founded Cranel Inc. in 1985 and today guides the company's overall strategic direction. Prior to establishing Cranel, Jim was the owner of Microtech, an electronic component manufacturer's representatives firm. He also created Cascade Data, an electronic component company, and REP Associates, a business computer firm.

Through Jim's leadership and his three-decade span of experience in information technology and engineering, Cranel has grown into an expansive company with locations across the U.S. A graduate of North Dakota State University, Jim also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.

Scott Slack

VP, Marketing & Support
Scott joined Cranel in 1996. As vice president of marketing, Scott leads Cranel in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs, as well as directing vendor relations efforts and partner development initiatives across all divisions. He has held several positions with the company including vice president and general manager of Cranel Imaging and marketing director.

Prior to Cranel, Scott served in senior marketing and sales management positions at Information Dimensions, Inc., Legent Corporation, and Sterling Software. Scott holds two bachelor’s degrees--Marketing as well as Transportation & Logistics from The Ohio State University.

Bill Schuman

VP, Sales

Bill joined Cranel in March of 2003.   As VP of Sales, he is responsible for the supervision, motivation and management of the Cranel sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and corporate success.

Bill started at Cranel in outside sales, covering the Southeastern US.  Over the years, his responsibilities have increased with his experience.  Prior to Cranel, he held sales and sales management positions with Medline Industries, BlueTie, and Frontier Communications.  He is an alumnus of Miami University.
