Cranel Imaging To Distribute Award-Winning Desktop PDF And Office Productivity Applications From Nuance

Nuance Communications, Inc. and Cranel Inc. announced recently that Cranel Imaging will distribute Nuance's full line of office productivity software. The agreement enables Cranel Imaging's network of value-added resellers (VARs) to sell Nuance's PDF, scanning and document management desktop software, proven by millions to help win the battle over paper.

Cranel will distribute Nuance PDF Converter Professional, the number one alternative to Adobe Acrobat; Nuance PaperPort, the best-selling document management application for the PC; and Nuance OmniPage Professional, the most accurate document conversion and OCR (optical character recognition) software application for Microsoft Windows. Cranel already distributes Nuance's eCopy ShareScan, the world's best-selling MFP (multifunction peripheral) scanning system that enables organizations to replace manual paper processes with digital document workflows.

Millions of users have embraced the productivity benefits of Nuance desktop applications. Nuance solutions turn PDF files and paper documents into fully editable Microsoft Office documents, and also convert paper documents into searchable PDF files that can be seamlessly stored in centralized document repositories, such as Microsoft SharePoint.
