Versitec Achieves Elite Service Provider Status for Second Consecutive Year

COLUMBUS, Ohio (April 30, 2007) Cranel Inc., which provides IT solutions and services, today announced that its business unit Versitec achieved top ratings in its 2007 Symantec Technical Support Partner Program (TSPP) business review. This ranks Versitec as one of the best within an elite group of eight Symantec TSPP providers in North America, offering their customers the highest levels of technical support.

As a requirement of the TSPP, Symantec performs annual business reviews with Versitec. During these reviews, case closure records, training history and support renewals are reviewed for the previous twelve-month period to ensure that the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained. This year, Versitec received a 96% rating, placing them in the highest performance tier.

Versitec offers their support customers a one hour response time on a 24x7x365 basis. With Versitec, customers experience quicker time to resolution by working with dedicated software support engineers on each incident reported. Under the TSPP, Versitec is qualified to deliver Level One (caller entitlement) and Level Two (problem verification and resolution) technical telephone support. In addition, Versitec receives priority access and is authorized to escalate cases directly to Symantecs advanced technical support engineers when additional assistance is required.

Since 1999, the Versitec software support team has developed in-depth experience and knowledge in supporting Symantec software solutions. Versitec software support engineers maintain knowledge and expertise on Symantec products they are supporting throughout the lifecycle of the products. This is achieved via continuing Symantec Support Readiness Training courses, which are offered on authorized products that receive major upgrades or updates.
