The leadership team at Cranel is comprised of seasoned executives that focus all business divisions toward outstanding performance that exceeds customer expectation.

Craig Wallace joined the company in 1994 with the specific assignment to form a Service Division for Cranel. As Vice President of Service, he established and built Versitec into the industry leader for IT Maintenance in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Market.

Prior to coming to Cranel, Craig held positions in sales and marketing in the Network Service Divisions of CompuServe. Today, Craig focuses on business growth and is responsible for all operational aspects of the company. Craig holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from The Ohio State University.

James Wallace founded Cranel Inc. in 1985 and today guides the company's overall strategic direction. Prior to establishing Cranel, Jim was the owner of Microtech, an electronic component manufacturer's representatives firm. He also created Cascade Data, an electronic component company, and REP Associates, a business computer firm.

Through Jim's leadership and his three-decade span of experience in information technology and engineering, Cranel has grown into an expansive company with locations across the U.S. A graduate of North Dakota State University, Jim also received a master’s degree in Business from the University of Iowa and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.

Mike joined Cranel in 2000. He leads research and development activities and formulates long-term technology decisions and strategies for the company. Mike initiated the early development of ISOdx in 2004, and today maintains a significant leadership in that division. Prior to Cranel, he served as vice president of Technical Services for Resource One Computer Systems.

Mike has held positions with Sun Microsystems, Retrobox (now Intechra) and The Ohio State University's Computer and Information Science Department. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, and was recognized in Business First's Columbus 40 under 40 in 2000.

Leslie joined Cranel in November 2011.  As vice president of Human Resources, she is responsible for all aspects of organizational and staff development, benefits administration, performance management and compensation, employee relations and company wellness initiatives. 

Prior to Cranel, Leslie held human resource management positions with the Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories, Wendy’s International and BBC&M Engineering.  She is a member of the national chapter of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO).  Leslie holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Ohio University.

Joe joined Cranel in 2007. As vice president of Sales, Joe is responsible for the sales organizations for Cranel Imaging, ISOdx, and Versitec.

Prior to Cranel, Joe held senior sales and marketing positions at Sarcom, Emerson, IRD Mechanalysis and Liebert Corporation. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from The Ohio State University.

Scott joined Cranel in 1996. As vice president of Marketing, Scott leads Cranel in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs, as well as directing vendor relations efforts and partner development initiatives across all divisions. He has held several positions with the company including vice president and general manager of Cranel Imaging and marketing director.

Prior to Cranel, Scott served in senior marketing and sales management positions at Information Dimensions, Inc., Legent Corporation and Sterling Software. Scott holds two bachelor’s degrees—Marketing as well as Transportation & Logistics from The Ohio State University.

Mike joined Cranel in October 2000. As chief financial officer, Mike directs all accounting, finance, IT and operations functions at Cranel.

Prior to Cranel, he held senior financial management positions with The Mike An Group, MBA Marketing Corporation and Safelite Auto Glass. He also served as an auditor and manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. Mike holds a CPA and is an alumnus of Miami University.
